The PetSafe Wireless Indoor Cat Barrier is the safe and highly effective way to keep your cat contained away from areas of your home where you do not want him to go. Just locate the small, disk-shaped transmitter (about the size of a Frisbee) close to the area you want to protect and set the range from two to ten feet. When your cat is wearing the receiver, he will not enter the designated area you wish to protect. The receiver is light and rugged, will last for years, and is the perfect solution for large, small, young and old cats.
If you need to protect more than one area, you can order extra Cat Barrier transmitters(PIRF-100) and more collars (PIG00-11006) if you have more cats. The Wireless Cat Barrier works by emitting a warning beep when your pet gets too near the protected area and if he/she continues to get nearer, a low correction is administered. You may increase or diminish the degree of correction needed in order to train you cat not to enter the areas you wish him to stay out of.
The specially designed Cat Safety Collar has nylon web composition with an elastic safety strip that will stretch in those instances where your cat is exploring in a tight place.
