Using one PetSafe Stay + Play Wireless Fence in your RV site will cover an adequate area for your pets, but the containment area can be enlarged if you use the wireless fence for larger yards by purchasing additional transmitters and overlapping the current boundary. After the transmitter location is set up, you need to put the included dog collar on your dog. As your dog wanders around in the yard, the collar will receive the signal that is emitted by the transmitter. If your dog goes near the border, an alarm will sound from the collar. Then if your dog persists closer to the off limits, he will acquire an immediate but entirely safe static correction. Correction levels include 6 levels so you can personalize the correction levels for your pet. Your dog must weigh more than 5 pounds and have a neck size of 6 inches up to 23 inches in order to use the collar. If you wish to use a ?tone only? signal for training your pet, you may do this and it may be adequate for your dogs needs. The battery that controls the collar is rechargeable and also has a 2 hour recharging unit included.
