Created to resemble a birdhouse, the Ultrasonic Bark Control System can be suspended in a tree, hung on a fence post, or placed anywhere outside. As soon as the Ultrasonic Bark Control Birdhouse recognizes needless barking, the microphone distinguishes the excessive barking and starts the unit. The activation causes a safe high pitched ultrasonic sound that can be heard only by dogs, but not by humans. The offending dog hears the sound and will stop barking. Due to the fact that it is unpleasant to the dog, the dog learns to stop barking!
Made specifically for outdoor use, this bark control device is durable, rugged and weatherproof. You can choose from 3 sensitivity levels (activated at 15, 30 or 50 feet) as well as a test level audible to humans. The Bark Control requires one 9 Volt Battery, (not included) with an average battery life of 2 months. The Ultrasonic Bark Control Birdhouse has a battery life indicator and can be set to 'Off' to save the battery when you're away.
