Are you looking to cut your underground pet fence installation time by half and prevent the back-breaking work of burying wire? Just use our Pet Fence Staples instead and you?ll be a happy camper.
When you get to your new RV park or campground, it will just take an hour or so to install the pet fence wire above ground and you won?t be digging up your campsite which may not be appreciated or allowed in the campgrounds where you are staying. Each box has 100 staples which is more than enough to install 500 feet of wire. Any brand of underground pet fencing can be installed above ground with our Pet Staples.
After about 7 to 14 days the grass root system will grow up to the above ground fencing system and hide it from view, making mowing no problem without worrying that the wire will be cut. If your campsite is mostly dirt, the wire will remain in view but flush to the ground and will work well due to the fact that there will be no loss of signal from burying the wire underground. This is also true for wire slightly covered with grass when used above ground. Most people find the above ground method preferable to burying wire underground, so our Pet Staples make this quick and simple.

Steps for installing wire above ground with Pet Staples:
Print these instructions as they will not be included in your order.

Step 1:

First run your twisted wire from your transmitter out to the beginning of your boundary.
Now "Staple" the twisted wire to the ground by hammering in a wire "Staple" every 5 - 6 feet.
Now stop and look at the wire. Is it completely flush to the ground all the way to the start of the boundary? If not go and "Staple" any raised areas before proceeding to the next step. The wire MUST completely touch the ground.
Step 2:

Next, place a "Staple" where the twisted wire and the beginning of the boundary meet (if you have a splice in this area please dig a small hole about 2 inches deep and bury the splice. Then place a "Staple" in the front of and behind the splice to relieve any pressure on the splice)
Now walk the wire to the first corner of your boundary and "Staple" it to the ground. Repeat this step for all four corners of your boundary.
Next go back just as you did with your twisted wire and "Staple" any raised areas down until they are completely flush with the ground.
It is that easy and quick.
